AKL-tec released its’ first solution for shipping document handling at LogiMat
After three succesful days LogiMat Stuttgart closed its’ doors for another year. Once again AKL-tec GmbH was present and looks back at another succesful trade show. “Our expectations for this year’s trade show were quite high as the amount of visitors and exhibitioners in the preceding years was quite overwhelming. The amount of international visitors was also remarkable. There’s a lot of movement at our booth.”, says Rüdiger Elben, CEO of AKL-tec GmbH. In the center of it all was redtagger, an innovative solution for the handling of shipping documents. With this device time consuming and manual labour is performed fully automated which creates a flexible flow of goods and an increase in productivity. “The redtagger drew the attention of a lot of visitors and the feedback indicated that our solutions for shipping document handling place us in an interesting niche”, explains Elben. The second focus lay on the prevailed freight measurement, which offers great potential for optimization in parcel distribution environments, package delivery services, forwarding companies and air freight.
Furthermore the systems for master data acquisition for all types of packages and objects were displayed and managed to impress the visitors. With this triad consisting of shipping documents handling, freight measurement and dimensioning systems the experts have managed to identify and adress the need for highly customizable system solutions and present unforeseen opportunities for companies.
