From small to large, logistics companies handle packages. Our fully automated measurement system, consisting of a conveyor system with a scale and our sharp Apache laser scanners, is the perfect solution for almost any application. But what if packages are even larger? To meet all requirements and reduce costs, we developed a 2-in-1 system that automatically measures and weighs smaller packages on a conveyor system as well as measuring large objects. To do this, we simply extended the travel range of the laser scanners so that a second, larger measuring range can be used parallel to the regular conveyor system to precisely measure large objects.
This optimized solution therefore not only offers more efficient workflows, but also reduces the costs incurred.
