AKL-tec GmbH looks back on a successful LogiMAT. The focus was on three new products for the measurement of general cargo and the recording of master data. “For general cargo logistics, we have expanded our proven APACHE system to include the APACHE flying forklift,” explains Rüdiger Elben, Managing Director of AKL-tec GmbH. The system enables the dimensional recording of palletized freight on the forklift in transit, so that the entire measurement process takes considerably less time. For recording packages in shipping and determining geometric master data, the company presented two new members of the CubiScan product family. CubiScan 75 is predestined for measuring cartons and packages in small and large logistics environments. The flexible and economical solution is suitable for all applications in courier, express and parcel services and facilitates picking, transport planning and the selection of packaging and storage space. All these advantages are also combined in the newly introduced CubiScan 325 system solution, which is also suitable for larger objects thanks to its dimensions. The solution-oriented and customized systems for determining geometric data such as length, width and height, as well as for weighing, provide exact values that provide valuable information to forwarders and logisticians. “LogiMAT represents the most important trade fair for us and we were able to hold numerous qualified discussions as well as establish contacts. For us, it is already clear that we will also participate in the next LogiMAT,” concludes Elben.
