At LogiMAT 2019 in Hall 4, Stand G50, AKL-tec GmbH will be presenting exhibits on all aspects of measuring and recording logistical objects, determining space requirements, and document handling. “redtagger” will be an integral part of this, as the document insertion system has been developed for smooth document handling and enables high throughput thanks to just-in-time print data processing. To this end, shipping documents such as delivery bills, invoices and remittance slips are printed and stored in the container while it is being transported. In addition, redtagger T-200 can be used to shoot the corresponding shipping label with carrier tape into the box on the fly. At the same time, the company’s APACHE portal first choice is aimed in particular at logistics companies involved in the transport of general cargo. The portable system can be used to record the volume and weight of unit loads and document them with a camera. The data determined, consisting of length, width, height, photo and weight, are automatically transferred to the system via defined interfaces. Thanks to the conformity assessment of the measuring system, they are legally relevant and can be used for billing purposes. With the various models in the CubiScan range, the master data is also determined and a photo is optionally taken. The difference lies in the size, so CubiScan was developed for measuring boxes and smaller objects. The exact values not only enable precise further processing and picking. In addition, space-saving storage and packaging is also possible, which noticeably reduces storage and shipping costs. “All our system solutions can be customized, so we can develop a suitable concept for each customer.
