At the logistics company Ziegler, our APACHE portal is used for freight measurement. The freight is brought to the freight checkpoint by forklift truck, placed on a platform scale and the freight data is automatically determined, stored and documented. In addition, an individual AKL-tec development was integrated at Ziegler: With the help of swivel barcode scanners, which were installed in a pillar, any attached barcodes on the sides of the packages can be scanned on the way to the scales during a short stop. This speeds up processes and provides reliable information.
