Apache S9, Cubiscan 325 and DWS Static ensure efficient processes
(Alsdorf, 06.02.2023) – AKL-tec GmbH will present its product solutions Apache S9, Cubiscan 325 as well as DWS Static, among others, in Hall 2 at Stand 2C20 at this year’s LogiMat, which will take place in Stuttgart from April 25 to 27. This will show trade show visitors options that make processes more efficient and economical.
With the new DWS Static series, another generation of the proven volume measuring and weighing system is moving into the focus of the trade show presentation. The innovative multi-talent combines both the measurement and weighing of objects of any shape as well as reliable master data acquisition and freight measurement in one system. Two laser measuring heads first determine the volume of the goods, while the integrated scale simultaneously measures the weight of the conveyable or non-conveyable goods. Following the successful measurement, a photo is automatically created. Depending on configuration requirements, additional cameras are available that work with partial blurs. Thanks to the characteristic cropping feature, the DWS Static is able to crop the generated images of the goods so that only the measured object is visible.
The APACHE S9 also proves to be a true 2-in-1 solution. With the combination system, customers not only have the option of wrapping pallets, but also of obtaining measurement data such as length, width and height at the same time. Optionally, a camera can also capture a photo-realistic image of the load. The 2-in-1 system is complemented by the redtagger T-200, which also automatically labels the pallet to be measured. This provides an all-round solution for packaging processes. For freight forwarders and the loading industry, the S9 thus offers considerable advantages, as it is possible to measure the load in almost any size or shape. The smallest of the APACHE solutions has a measuring area of 150x150x280 cm.
Already presented at SITL in Paris and now at Europe’s largest annual intralogistics trade fair, the Cubiscan 325 continues the innovation trend of AKL-tec GmbH. The precisely fitting, static solution is used to measure logistical objects for master data acquisition and to determine packaging sizes in retail and wholesale. A major innovative advantage of Cubiscan 325 is the trend-setting infrared light grid technology, the 25 MP camera for object photography as well as an integrated scale, thanks to which the data of irregularly shaped as well as cubic objects can be easily determined. The measuring range is 90 cm long and 60 cm wide and high, the goods to be measured can also be in a weight range between 0.002 kg up to 25 kg. During measurement, the object is positioned on the measuring and weighing surface, the infrared light grid is moved manually and the dimensioning data is recorded accurately within three to seven seconds. Since the measuring steps allow very precise results with a distance of only 1.3 mm, the collected data provide information regarding the required storage area, packaging size or even the need for packaging material. “The entire AKL-tec trade fair team is already looking forward to the professional exchange and the discourse with the trade fair visitors at our booth,” emphasizes Rüdiger Elben, Managing Director of AKL-tec GmbH.
