We look back on a successful year in 2025
We can look back on 2025 with satisfaction. We presented measurement and testing technologies that serve as the basis for efficient logistics processes on key industry platforms.
At LogiMAT, we focused on the newly developed CubiScan N9 – a system that takes the measurement of logistics objects to a new level with scalable resolutions, virtually continuous scanning, and high integrability. The presentation was complemented by the CubiScan S9, which combines several process steps by integrating a winding machine with a turntable. It accurately captures objects of various sizes and shapes and also offers code and logo recognition. In addition, we showcased the award-winning AI solution “Predictive Vision for Logistics,” which can reliably predict object properties, opening up a new dimension of intelligent process support.
At transport logistic, we impressed visitors with a new inspection system that automatically captures freight dimensions and contours with high precision, offering particular advantages in the air freight sector. Precise measurement supports optimal palletizing, facilitates compliance with demanding contour limits, and ensures optimal utilization of available cargo space.
Together with Vitronic, we presented a new solution for the automated inspection of exchange pallets at the Pallet Symposium. This solution combines precise measurement technology with intelligent sensor technology and objectively evaluates pallets along the entire supply chain. Damage, adhesions, or dimensional deviations are detected in real time, and misclassifications are significantly reduced. The modular architecture allows for integration into existing systems as well as stand-alone operation for checking and sorting complete pallet stacks.
A highlight was the successful Pallet Dimensioning Days held at the company's headquarters, where long-standing partners and industry guests discussed current developments, technological trends, proven solutions for automated freight measurement, and innovative AI and deep learning approaches for logistics.
“We can look back on a successful year. We are very pleased with our continued growth, both in terms of the number of employees and our building and location capacities,” summarizes Managing Director Rüdiger Elben. AKL-tec will continue to invest in research and development in order to drive forward the digitalization of the logistics industry and offer its customers innovative solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
